Week 9 “Relative” Chase Standings as of Phoenix
It’s no secret, we hate the NASCAR Chase Format. We imagine that in a true playoff system, Chase drivers should be scored relative to each other. The first finishing Chase driver receives 12 points (+1 bonus point for a win) the next Chaser gets 11 poins, etc…, with the last Chaser earning 1 point. Here’s what that would look like:
